• SafeShare’s file-sharing emails now have a more modern feel and appearance. The emails include the following information displayed:
• Date of expiration for shared file links.
• Receivers will be asked to open the file with WinZip Free Download if it is encrypted.
• Users who want to open the encrypted file(s) they got via SafeShare are given a link to download WinZip Free.
• Recently added to PDF Express:
• Users can now post comments on both new and old PDFs.
• Annotation: Users can now annotate both new and old PDFs.
• Forms: Interactive forms are now simple for users to complete, whereas non-interactive forms need them to sign and remark manually.
• The WinZip PDF Express and WinZip SafeShare items can now be displayed on the Windows context menu by going to File -> WinZip Settings -> Explorer.
• Users can now select Update Notifier from File à WinZip Settings à Updates to turn it on or off.
• With the opportunity to rate and survey within the app, users can now provide suggestions for improving WinZip. WinZip Enterprise customers can enable, disable, or customize surveys and in-app ratings.
• 32-bit system support has been discontinued by WinZip, which is now limited to 64-bit computers.

Improvements

• WinZip no longer supports Window Charms for users of Windows 10 and higher.
• Before leaving SafeShare, a warning message will be shown.
• A confirmation window will show up in Duplicate File Finder when you select “File Cleaning Actions.”
• “File Cleaning Actions: Delete” and “File Cleaning Actions: Wipe” now have more in-depth descriptions in Duplicate File Finder.
